Thomas A. Drake, DDS

Dr. Drake has enjoyed family dental practice for over thirty years in western Wyandotte County. His passion for sleep medicine began when his wife was hospitalized for heart issues brought on by sleep apnea. Since then, Dr. Drake has been a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and has taken many courses in Dental Sleep Medicine around the country. He has achieved Diplomate status at the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. The privilege and the rewards of giving patients their lives back with better sleep inspires Dr. Drake to continue giving the best service in dental sleep medicine and continue his quest for knowledge in the field of sleep medicine.

These devices are custom fitted by dentists with special expertise and training in treating sleep apnea. They fit in the mouth, similar to a retainer or mouth guard. They open your airway by moving your lower jaw and tongue forward while you sleep. They are small, comfortable and effective.
